CPOs

A Charge Point Operator (CPO) is a company operating a pool of charging points. A CPO creates value by providing smart charging features to eMSPs. In some cases, a Charge Point Operator could also own the charging points. They can be institutions that own several thousands of chargers or just an individual holding a private charging station in the garage. In other cases, CPOs will be the companies that just provide the owner with the connection to an eMSP. These players are the source of necessary charging infrastructure to the platform.
