eMSPs

An e-mobility service provider (eMSP) is a company offering an EV charging service to EV drivers. An eMSP creates value for its customers (EV drivers) by providing access to multiple charging points around a geographic area. They are independent technology companies (in few cases separate divisions in CPO and OEM companies) who provide the details of the charging stations such as availability, price and location. These players create and handle the demand side of the energy platform by providing mass access to the thousands of users.
